Compatible source dates matter
The annual tools use Census Population Estimates Program Vintage 2025, with observations dated July 1 of 2020–2025. A frozen comparison link retains the release, selected IDs and years. Census-year counts in the history tool are a separate collection; they are not inserted into the annual estimate line. Read population methods for denominators, precision and boundary definitions.
