Report a possible error
Send a correction report to info@admk.com. Include the page URL, place name and geographic code, the displayed figure, its observation date and release ID, and a link to the original source you believe differs. A short explanation of the issue helps identify whether the problem concerns a value, label, calculation, geographic relationship or download.
Use the contact page for general questions. Do not include personal information about individual residents; this site publishes aggregate statistics. If your concern is about privacy or legal information, use the same published address and identify that topic in your message.
Website corrections and source revisions
A website correction repairs an error in our transcription, selection, calculation, metadata or interface. An upstream revision changes the Census Bureau's estimate in a later source release. Those are different events. A change to the same observation date across two vintages is a revision difference, not growth between two dates.
The Population Estimates Program revises its time series when it releases a new annual vintage. For reproducible work, note both the July 1 reference date and the vintage. Two figures can be valid in their original releases yet differ because corrections, revised inputs or geographic changes were incorporated later. The revision guide explains this distinction.
Current correction record
The initial publication snapshot is pep-2025-r1, retrieved and assembled September 30, 2026. No website corrections have been logged for that initial snapshot. This describes our revision log, not a claim that the Census estimates have no uncertainty. Source files and their hashes identify the exact observations used.
A substantive correction will receive a dated entry describing the affected observations, old and corrected values where applicable, reason and new publication snapshot. Previously released files remain available with their original identifiers. An archived download is not changed silently to match a new latest page. Comparisons that name an older snapshot must continue to identify it or explicitly explain if it cannot be served.
Checking an apparent discrepancy
Before reporting two different numbers, compare their source product, observation date, geographic definition, population universe and publication vintage. A Census count, revised estimates base, annual PEP estimate and ACS survey-period estimate serve different roles. Do not average them. Use each profile's source section or our methodology to inspect the displayed selection.
